I'm Claire, a certified yoga and movement instructor and birth doula. I bring movement, breath, evidence-based guidance, and grounded support together to help women trust their bodies and navigate change with confidence.
Long before I understood why, I was drawn to the way breath and movement could quiet a busy mind and bring me back into my body. Yoga became both a personal anchor and a way to help others feel stronger, steadier, and more at home in themselves. Over hundreds of hours of training and teaching, I learned not only how to guide movement, but also how to listen, create space, and support each person as they are. My 500-hour certification, the highest level of yoga teacher training, took me from studios in the United States to immersive study in Thailand.
Teaching prenatal yoga revealed another dimension of that work. As I watched women discover their strength, trust their bodies, and prepare for birth, I felt called to support them beyond the yoga mat. Becoming a birth doula felt like a natural extension of the same work: using presence, breath, movement, and compassionate care to help women feel informed, supported, and never alone. My dual college majors in Women’s Studies and Sociology ground that care in a deeper understanding of women’s lives, bodies, and choices.
My mission is to support women through pregnancy and birth by creating a space where they feel seen, heard, and deeply supported. Through evidence-based education, intuitive guidance, movement, breath, and unwavering presence, I help women cultivate trust in themselves and approach birth with confidence instead of fear.
You know your body best. My job is to make sure you understand every option.
Sometimes the best support isn't words. It's someone beside you who stays calm, grounded, and fully there.
We build real trust in your body and intuition, so you walk in prepared rather than just reassured.
Clear, evidence-based information for every question, because knowledge is what replaces fear.
From our first conversation through your first days postpartum, I walk alongside you and your partner: preparing body and mind, protecting the calm of your birth space, and helping you navigate every choice with clarity and confidence.
I help you and your partner feel at home in a clinical setting, with continuous emotional support, comfort measures, movement and positioning, and breathwork through every stage of labor.
For families birthing at home, I work alongside your midwifery team with hands-on comfort measures, position and breathwork support, and a calm, steady presence while your midwives handle the clinical care.

UC San Diego Health · Doula Training
The 500-hour designation is the highest certification level for yoga teachers, requiring hundreds of hours of advanced study beyond the foundational 200-hour training.
I completed my training in the United States and through immersive study in Thailand, where daily practice deepened both my teaching and my understanding of yoga’s roots. That training shapes every session I lead: safe, functional movement guided with care and attention.
